WOODVILLE — Winning entries in Tyler County Art League’s Spring Show, “Texas, Our Texas” are: Best in Show: “A Long Day”, Oil by Joyce Renfro; First Place: “Palo Duro Longhorns”, Oil by Carolyn Guzman; Second Place: “At the River”, Pastel by Lisa Richardson; Third Place: “Slim”, Oil by Patti Barras; and Honorable Mentions: “Under Attack”, Acrylic by Janet Clements, “Bend in the Road”, Oil by Lavon Hopkins, “Protect the Border”, Oil by Carolyn Guzman, “The Hill Country”, Pastel by Merilyn McDonald and “Mountain Desert” by Danny Clements.
Photography winners are: First Place: “Cadillac Ranch” by Lisa Richardson; Second Place: “Big Bend Morning” by Wanda Smith; Third Place: “Castolon Park in Big Bend by Vera Charlene Wareham; and Honorable Mentions: “Cowboys” by Lisa Richardson and “Church on the Hill” by Debbie Phillips. Judges Choice went to “Chillin’ Out” Oil by Joyce Renfro.
