Eagles, Lady Eagles victorious in District games

The Eagle and Lady Eagles baseball and softball teams are coming off big victories over Newton in District play.  Head coach Woody McCelland led Woodville to a 17-0 victory, while the Lady Eagles run-ruled the purple Eagles 21-4 on Senior Night.

Seniors competing for the last time were shortstop Mallory Dunn, Center Fielder Jade McQueen, second baseman Ke’Tanah Thompson, trainer Ebony Lacey, and trainer Hailey McClure. Both games ended early due to the run rule.  The Eagles will return to the diamond on Friday, April 26 to face the Huntington Red Devils at home.
