Funeral services for Dorothy Lee Lowe, 92, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, October 9, 2026 at 3 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Bryan Dickens officiating. Interment will follow at the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held prior to the service from 2-3 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Dorothy was born June 17, 1934 in Livingston, Texas to parents Clifton Columbus McKnight and Hazel (Jarrell) McKnight and passed away October 1, 2026 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Red Lowe.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Beverly Athey and Dennis; son, Marty Lowe; daughters, Tanta Lowe, Denis Bergman and son-in-law, Bill; grandchildren, Doug, Darci, Leanna, Garet, Clay, Whit, Tiara, Alaina and Colton; 14 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
The family wishes a special thanks to the Wright sisters, Debra, Betty, Maxine and Gracie and also Ynette Peterson for all the great care that they provided.
Dorothy will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers Garet Lowe, Whit Lowe, Clay Lowe, Doug Athey, Colton Westcott and Lane Ward.
Honorary pallbearers will be Mark Wessels, Wayne Wessels, Lynn Strahan, Ronnie Lowe, Ken Lowe and Jose’ Diasdado.
