Frederick Creel, 93 years old, previously of Coldspring, died at his home in Mexia, Tx on August 17, 2025 with his wife, Barbara and daughter Judith by his side.
Born on October 25, 1931 in Houston, Tx, he was preceded in death by his parents Ernest S Creel, Eleanor Fair Creel Vought and siblings Richard Creel, Hazel Creel, Audrey Posey, Sharen Phares and Joan Davis,Stokes, Posey.
Fred is survived by his wife Barbara Creel, brothers: John (Kathy), David (Barb), Paul (Belinda); sons: Larry Minter, Kirby Brewer (Susan Madigan), Rick Brewer (Sheila), Steve Stoess (Theresa); daughters: Judith Creel, Julia Welch, Kelly Lambert, step-daughter Desni Cox (David); 11 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, 1 great great grandchild and many extended family members.
A Celebration of Life will be held on September 20, 2025 in Coldspring, Tx at the Coldspring Community Center, 101 E. Cedar Avenue.
