COLDSPRING — For the second time this season the Lady Trojans dominated the Crockett Lady Bulldogs 3-0 in a district matchup.
The win stayed at home with sets 25-12, 25-8 and 25-4.
Coach Dwain Anderson said, “We were without Ella (Phillips) tonight and the girls pulled together and make the win happen.”
Ashlynn Holley said, “We kept our game plan in place and it worked. We were playing without the middle blocker Ella, so we had to change a few of our plays to make it happen.”
Onalaska will be hosted by the Lady Trojans next and then they travel to Trinity.
On Oct. 15, the Lady Trojans found themselves in a big dogfight against New Waverly Lady Bulldogs.
The first round of play with New Waverly was a no contest game with the Lady Trojans taking 3 quick sets and winning in September; however, the Lady Bulldogs came out strong and evened the scales, winning 3 of 4.
