COLMESNEIL – The All-District awards were named last week for the Colmesneil Lady Dogs after the 2025 softball season concluded for them in April.
The 2A district the Lady Dogs competed in was a tough district, but several on the team were named to All-District honors. Freshman Victoria “Torie” Lewis was named first team all-district infielder and sophomore Taryn Byrum was named second team all-district outfielder.
Seniors River Squier; Danielle Pittman and Jaclyn Butler were all named all-district honorable mentions.
For the Academic All-District team for 2025, Pittman, Squier and Butler were named, along with junior Josey Eddins, sophomores Madison Primrose and Pasleigh Zinnante and freshman Lewis.
