Twelve people who refer to themselves as “Citizens of Polk County who want Hands Off our Democracy” conducted a pop-up protest in front of the Polk County Courthouse Saturday when threatening weather precluded them from attending a Hands Off! Rally in Conroe. Hands Off! demonstrations were held across the country Saturday to protest the actions of President Donald Trump and his billionaire advisor Elon Musk.
