WOODVILLE – Thursday, Oct. 29 marks the beginning of First Baptist Church of Woodville’s “Coats for Kids” program, which runs through Jan. 17, 2027.
The outreach program is done through the church’s benevolence committee, and supplies coats to children in the county who need them. This winter, many will need warm coats, as a harsh winter is forecasted. The dates are Oct. 29 through Nov. 17 and then Dec. 3-17 and Jan. 8-17 of 2027.
According to FBC Benevolence Committee member Beverly Johnson, “If your children are in need of a coat this winter, come pick one up at the House of Hope, located next to the Woodville Post Office. Please have your child with you.”
The outreach service is open each Thursday, between 3:30 p.m. and 5:30 p.m. at the House of Hope.
