2026 Groveton Homecoming is just around the corner!
Homecoming will be held Friday and Saturday, October 16th and 17th, 2026. This year is “BIG” homecoming year. We are looking forward to a great season from our Groveton Indian Athletes and our Lady Indians. We will be posting a detailed Homecoming schedule in next few weeks after school starts and a theme for our 2026 homecoming is chosen. Friday activities start with meet and greet in old gymnasium in morning, Bi-Annual business meeting, pep Rally, football game with crowning of homecoming queen and street dance downtown following the football game. Saturday we will start the morning with parade through downtown where floats will be judged for cash prizes, followed by Hall of Fame Banquet where new inductees will be honored.
It is time to ask you to consider nominating a Groveton graduate, community person, or a teacher/staff member who has distinguished themselves and is worthy of the honor to be inducted into Groveton Ex-Student Hall of Fame.
You will find a more detailed description of the process at the website listed below. After we receive nominations, the committee will review the nominations and make selections for the new inductees. Please go to the website and email us your nominations (info on website) or mail to our PO address, PO Box 70 Groveton, Tx 75845.
We have added a website through the school district that includes the criteria for selection, the nomination process, and the nomination form. The deadline for nominations is August 31, 2026.
