APPLE SPRINGS — To begin a legacy, it starts with determination, and new Apple Springs Volleyball Coach Raegyn Moreno plans to watch the Lady Eagles grow into the role.
Moreno is in her second year of coaching, coming over from Nacogdoches. She takes over a team that posted an 8-12 record and no district wins last year. But, that could change/
“I see a lot of athleticism, a lot of hustle out of these girls,” she said. “There is a lot of camaraderie with them and they will work very hard.”
So far, it being early in the season, Moreno hasn’t pegged any team leaders or standouts, but as the season progresses, she may have different answers.
