The 79th annual Tyler County Chamber of Commerce awards banquet took place on Thursday, Oct. 22 at Church in the Country.
Attendees were treated to a fall fiesta theme, complete with music from Mariachi Proyeito and a spread of Tex-Mex favorites, catered by Rosanna’s Taqueria, with desserts from Sweet Fillins pie shop and an agua fresca bar, courtesy of GJR Tacos.
The Chamber presented its slate of awards to a variety of businesses and individuals, and a lively auction of mystery boxes, donated by various countywide businesses and organizations, took place, with Woodville Police Department’s own Jathan Borel as the auctioneer.
