On Thursday night, the Trinity and 356 fire departments trained together at the Hayne Huffman Training Field. Firefighters from both departments practice extinguishing structure fires. As mutual aid departments the entities, along with others throughout the area, respond with each other on many fires so training together makes the teams more efficient. These volunteers spend many hours training to better serve their respective communities.
Trinity Fire Department and Trinity Police Department assisted the Trinity Public Works Department putting Christmas lights across Highway 19 and Main Street Thursday afternoon.
