The Groveton and Trinity volunteer fire departments have received a donation of emergency drinking water from Stevenson Beer Distributing and Anheuser-Busch to help keep its firefighters hydrated during wildfire response efforts this season.
The donation, made in partnership with the National Volunteer Fire Council, will provide critical hydration to first responders working long hours in extreme conditions.
On June 4, 2,352 cans of water were delivered by Stevenson, which Anheuser-Busch’s local wholesaler partner located in Trinity. The donation will help ensure firefighters have access to clean drinking water while responding to wildfires and other emergencies where proper hydration is essential for safety and performance.
Stevenson delivered a pallet of canned water to the Trinity Volunteer Fire Dept Wednesday morning. This is the second year that Trinity Fire has received a water donation.
