I am pleased to announce my candidacy for City Council, Place 1 in the upcoming election. My name is Sally Ciancimino. My husband Anthony and I fell in love with Woodville when we became weekenders here back in October of 2018. We converted to full-timers in December of 2025 when I retired from my position as Operations Manager at a company in The Woodlands, TX. My career has been in management for the majority of my adult life. I have served on committees and volunteered in various positions beginning when my adult children were in Elementary School.
Anthony and I have four children between us and three grandchildren. We currently own a Cottage Food business called Sassy’s Pantry. We are called Sassy and Pepper by our grandchildren.
Through our business, I have met so many fine folks here in Woodville and surrounding communities at events and markets. I have learned so much about the history, the people and the dreams of this City. The more I learn, the more I want to be an active participant in the future of Woodville. I have watched new opportunities arise and heard of many more to come. How exciting to watch visions coming alive! I believe there is much to be done to grow our city and truly believe it is achievable through hard work and coordination with our citizens, business owners and visionaries looking to the future. We need to develop a plan that will grow areas of our city that are in need growth. If elected, I will work hard on focusing on the present and future.
My heart is in Woodville, and I want it to be the best place to live for generations to come. I am not afraid of hard work, and I promise to give it my all each and every day. I may not be known in the political world here yet but give me the chance to show you how I can be an asset to you and your family. Come out and vote on November 3rd.
