Funeral services for Edward Laverne Landrum, 88, of Coldspring, Texas, were held Tuesday, September 1, 2026 at 11 a.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment followed at the Mt. Zion Cemetery in Point Blank, Texas. Visitation was held on the day of service from 10-11 a.m. at the funeral home.
Edward was born July 5, 1938 in Krotztown, Mississippi and passed away August 26, 2026 in Coldspring, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Allen Edward Landrum and Ila Rae Langley Landrum; sisters, Betsy Crower and June Landrum; and brother, Jimmy Landrum.
He is survived by his wife, Edith Landrum of Coldspring, Texas; daughter, Vera Rae Faulk and husband Gary of Humble, Texas; grandchildren, Wayne Faulk and Ellizabeth Faulk and Matthew; great-grandchildren, Emailie Faulk, James Faulk, and Travis Faulk; and sisters, Ellender Hull and Edith Adams; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
