Former Livingston Lion baseball athlete Gage Morris enjoyed a great first season as part of the Centenary Gentlemen.

Centenary baseball advanced to the conference tournament in the spring of 2024, eventually emerging as champions of the Southern Collegiate Athletic Conference.

Players were presented their championship rings at a ceremony following a recent alumni game. Morris is a utility player, dividing time between all outfield positions, second base and third base.

In conference play, the former Lion hit .571 with an on-base percentage of .667, and slugging percentage of .571.

In the field, he collected 20 putouts on a .975 fielding percentage, with two double plays and only one throwing error.

Morris received the honor of SCAC All-Tournament third baseman as a freshman at the school in Shreveport, Louisiana.
