A memorial visitation in honor of Janis Burris, 79, of Livingston, Texas, was held Saturday, May 16, 2026 from 4-6 p.m. at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas.
Janis was born January 18, 1947 in Port Arthur, Texas and passed away May 12, 2026 in Livingston, Texas. She was preceded in death by her parents, Oliver Julius O’Neal and Helen Stiehl O’Neal; son, Carl Steven Burris Jr.; and sister, Judy Hall.
She is survived by her husband, Carl Burris; daughter and son-in-law, Carol Fowler and John; sons and daughters-in-law, Michael Burris and Elizabeth Williams, and Christopher Burris and Deirdre; grandchildren, Jessica Fowler Neal and Ezra Neal, Lucas Fowler, Erin Fowler, Tink Burris, Norah Burris, and Owen Burris; and great-grandchildren, Isaac Neal and Samuel Neal; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
