There were 109 entries in the Livingston Art League’s annual Fall Show and Sale Saturday at First Presbyterian Church in Livingston.
Mayor Judy Cochran presented the Mayor’s Choice award to Alice Newman for her mixed media painting called “Autum.”
Arthur Deatly of Houston served as this year’s judge. He awarded the Best in Show to Allen Borchers for his photo called “I’m Here!” The Best in Show Youth went to Noah Smith for his painting called “Red Bird Watches Over You.” The Wilma Lee Ogletree Best Floral went to Peggy Borchers for her watercolor “Lady Zinnia.” The People’s Choice Award was presented to C.B. Williams for her oil painting called “Girl by the Window.”
In the accomplished artist oil/acrylic painting division, C.B. Williams won first place with “Girl by the Window.” Marcie O’Neall won second place with “Amber and Her Nylabone” and third place with “Leigh’s Boy Mojo.”
In the accomplished artist watercolor/acrylic division, Jim Newsome won first place with “I Will Make You Fishers of Men.” Marcie O’Neall won second place with “MDO@62” and third place with “Angel Sleeping.”
In the accomplished artist drawing division, Marcie O’Neall won first place with “The Battle.”
In the accomplished artist mixed media division, Lynn Chatman won first place with “Starfish on the Rocks.”
In the accomplished artist digital art division, Jim Newsome won first place with “My Angel Watches Over Me.”
In the accomplished artist abstract/nonobjective division, Lynn Chatman won first place with “Crossing the Bridge” and second place with “I am a Fox.”
In the established artist oil/acrylic painting division, Lila Dudley won first place with “My Sunshine.” Second place was awarded to Cory Mejia for “Harmonious Day.” Cory also won third place for “Feasting Butterfly” and first honorable mention for “Joyful Encounter.” Denise Cribbet won honorable mention for “Heavenly Hydrangea.”
In the established artist watercolor/acrylic division, Nylan Holifield won first place with “Artifact II.” Denise Cribbet won second place with “Winter Snow” and third place with “Butterfly in Sunflowers.” Celeste Williamson won first honorable mention for “Cactus Monster.”
In the established artist pastel division, Lila Dudley won first place for “Friends to the End.” Denise Cribbet won second place for “Becky’s Iris.”
In the established artist drawing division, Nylan Holifield won first place for “King of Hearts.”
In the established artist mixed media division, Lila Dudley won first place with “Why Not Wine.” Nylan Holifield won second place for “Charlie.” Cory Mejia won third place for “Cardinal Resting.” Celeste Williamson won first honorable mention for “Land and Sea II” and honorable mention for “Land and Sea I.”
In the established artist abstract/nonobjective division, Celeste Williamson won first place with “Golden Drops.” Catheryn Ladd won second place with “Choice.” Cory Mejia won third place with “Flames.” Celeste Williamson won first honorable mention with “Eons Ago” and honorable mention with “Abstract I.”
In the established artist sculpture division, Catheryn Ladd won first place with “Dakota.”
In the emerging artist oil/acrylic painting division, Anita Holse won first place with “Gus.”
In the emerging artist watercolor/acrylic painting division, Peggy Borchers won first place with “Lady Zinnia” and second place with “Eze France.” Caroline Lee won third place with “Covered Bridge.”
In the emerging artist pastel division, Sydney Murphy won first place with “Livingston Proud.”
In the emerging artist mixed media division, Diane Simser won first place with “At Home with Katie.” Diane also won second place with “Anya,” third place with “Proud Spintop Yellow Touch Blanket Flowers,” and first honorable mention with “Boys.”
In the emerging artist photography division, Allen Borchers won first place with “I’m Here!” Debbie Phillips won second place with “Behind the Fall,” third place with “Smoke over Lake Michigan,” and first honorable mention with “2 for Sunset.”
In the emerging artist digital art division, Debbie Phillips won first place with “Sun Spots.” Allen Borchers won second place with “Central Park NYC” and third place with “Fall Pond Enchanted.”

In the emerging artist fiber arts division, Debbie Phillips won first place with “Under the Fall.” She won second place with “I Think It’s a Turtle” and third place with “First Attempt.”
In the novice artist oil/acrylic painting division, Lennie Sawyer won first place with “Checking the Crops.” Linnie won second place with “Garden Party” and third place with “Sunkissed.”
In the novice artist pastel division, Alice Newman won first place with “Forest Sunrise.”
In the novice artist drawing division, Mary Lou Purello won first place with “A Child is Born.”

In the youth middle school pastel division, Dalton St. Clair won first place with “Me in the Forest.” Mary Bryce won second place with “Dinner.” Elisa Garza won third place with “Parrot and Fruit.” Brantley Whisenhunt won first honorable mention with “Oil Deer in the Forest.” Kyleigh Acosta won honorable mention with “Duck-Lincoln,” and Ember Metzgar won a certificate for “Flower Show.”
In the youth middle school drawing division, Samantha Hueske won first place for “Eye Flowers.” Lorraine Copaus won second place for “Eyeball in a Field of Flowers.” Matthew Smith won third place for “Wasp.” Veda Forrest won first honorable mention for “Blind Love.” Jolee Blau won honorable mention for “The Girl’s Portrait.”
In the youth middle school mixed media division, Lily Bennett won first place for “Passing Effect.” Emalyn Ford won second place for “Crys and Lizzy in the Sky.” Jacelynn Wood won third place for “Candy Flowers.” Emma’Lee Rose won first honorable mention for “Here Comes the Sun.” Ava Sanford won honorable mention for “Reflections.”
In the youth elementary school oil/acrylic painting division, Cameron Tinsley won first place with “Monday Night Under the Lights.” Sophia Uijanec won second place with “Star Wars.” Ann Claire Wiggins won third place with “Hayfield.”
In the youth elementary school watercolor/acrylic painting division, Noah Smith won first place with “Red Bird Watches over You.” Leon Smith won second place with “Pretty Rose.” Cameron Tinsley won third place with “Sunset on Sunday Street.”
In the youth elementary school drawing division, Sadee Blau won first place with “The Child.” Sadee also won second place with “The Room” and third place with “Humid.” Harley McCoy won first honorable mention with “The Unending Universe.” Paislee Riley won honorable mention with “Boo Boo Ghost.” Cameron Tinsley won a certificate for “5 Corners of the USA.”
In the youth elementary school mixed media division, Asa Smith won first place with “Flustering Fountain.” Noah Smith won second place with “Blue Bird-Looking for a Flower.”
In the youth elementary school photography division, Leon Smith won first place for “Sword of Light.”
In the youth elementary school sculpture division, Alexander Tinsley won first place for “Bird Feeder of Holding for Water and Food.”
The Livingston Art League meets on the fourth Monday of each month at St. Luke’s Episcopal Church in Livingston. Its next regular meeting is Jan. 26, 2026.
