WARREN – An ongoing drug investigation resulted in the arrests of four men last Wednesday, according to Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford.

Weatherford said that the combined efforts of the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office, the Tyler County District Attorney’s Office, the Texas Department of Public Safety (CID Special Agents from the Beaumont office) and the U.S. Marshals Service executed four warrants for the manufacture/delivery of a controlled substance.

The four men served and arrested are Michael DeWayne Adams, 49, of Woodville; James Lewis Foster, 80, of Hillister; Victor Jermaine Williams, 43, of Hillister and Billy Bo Walker, 52, of Warren.

Weatherford said TCSO deputies arrested the men without incident, and in obtaining the warrants during the investigation, one search warrant was obtained and executed for a residential search while written/verbal consent was provided for another.

Weatherford said that the searches yielded approximately 21.9 grams of powder cocaine; 43.2 grams of crack cocaine; approximately 60 2-milligram Alprazolam pills; five grams of methamphetamine; 1.6 ounces of synthetic marijuana and multiple weapons, as well as a ledger that documented suspected narcotics sales.

Among the weapons found was a hand grenade, which was found to have an active primer inside. Weatherford said the ATF was called to assist with the hand grenade.

All four suspects are in custody of the Tyler County Jail, and additionally, Adams and Walker will face additional charges for the narcotics and weapons inside of the residences.
