Early voting begins Tuesday for the May 3 city and school elections and will conclude April 29. Tuesday is also the last day to apply to vote by mail.

Corrigan-Camden ISD and the cities of Corrigan and Onalaska will hold elections. Onalaska ISD and Goodrich ISD were able to cancel their elections as no one filed to challenge the incumbents.

Positions that will be on the ballot in the Corrigan-Camden ISD include Position 6, presently held by Jason Benjamin, and Position 7, presently held by David Ray. Both incumbents filed and Erika Alvarez also filed for Position 7.

Positions 1, 3 and 5 on the Corrigan City Council will be on the ballot. Position 1, held by Eden Rebollar, and Position 3, held by Johnathan Max Willson, are on the ballot and neither incumbent drew opposition. Pam Freeman did not file for reelection to Position 5, leaving the seat open. Thomas J. Roberts and Phelicha Jolly are seeking election to that position.

In the City of Onalaska, three “at large” positions on the city council will be on the ballot – those presently held by Shirley Gilmore, T.D. Jennings and Zachary Davies. Both Gilmore and Davies filed for reelection. Others that filed include Joseph Polizzi, Traci Dennison and Howard A. Smith.
