TRINITY — A Huntsville resident was killed in a one-vehicle crash that occurred in the afternoon of Oct. 27 in downtown Trinity.

Trinity Police Department reports indicate the crash occurred at the intersection of Highway 19 (South Robb Street) and FM 230 (West Main Street).

The report states the driver, Jannette Ford, 83, was driving south on 19 and had a “medical episode” in the vehicle, which caused her to lose control of the vehicle. The truck, a 2017 Ford F-150, then crashed into a traffic stoplight.

Ford was believed to have died prior to the crash, as medical personnel attempted to resuscitate her. She was pronounced dead at MidCoast Medical Center by Justice of the Peace Keith Johnson.

A male passenger, Kenneth Wayne Moore, 83, of Trinity, was life-flighted to another hospital where he remains in critical condition.
