The Texas State University System Polk County Center will host a Spring Registration Party from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at 1015 US 59 Loop in Livingston with representatives available to discuss advising, admissions, cashiering and financial aid.

The Texas State University System (TSUS) Polk County Center represents a significant investment in education and workforce development for the communities of Polk County. The educational facility offers a diverse range of courses and training programs jointly offered by Lamar Institute of Technology, Lamar State College Orange and Lamar State College Port Arthur.

The TSUS Polk County Center offers associate of arts degrees, associate of applied arts, associate of science degrees, certificates of completion, and institutional awards in a variety of disciplines. Programs are delivered through face-to-face, online, and hybrid instructional methods. Each program is designed to meet the needs of Polk County and surrounding communities.

Each program is sorted by one of five designated pathways: business, industrial technology, public service, workforce and continuing education, allied health/healthcare.

Other resources provided at the center include: adult education, a career center, library services, technology and a testing center.
