In loving memory. It is with heavy hearts that we announce the passing of a member of our family, whose life was a testament to unwavering strength. Rhonda Marlene Phipps (nee Alsbrook) departed peacefully on Thursday, Jan. 30, 2025, in Huntsville, after a lengthy illness.
She was a long-time resident of Westwood Shores in Trinity with her beloved husband of 30 years, John Phipps Jr. They moved here from Kenner, La., where she retired as the director of nursing from Kenner Regional Hospital.
She is survived by her husband, John Phipps Jr.; son, Shawn Michael Caillouet (Jeanne) and children, Mason, Seth, and Eli; daughter Angie Coleman (Damon) and children Marcus, Ian and Alessandra; daughter, Ilsa Carter; and daughter, Cathy Price.
Rhonda volunteered for a long time at Trinity Loaves and Fishes Food Pantry and any remembrances you would like to make may be donated there.
Rest in peace, dear friend. You will be missed but never forgotten.
