December 22, 2024, our Lord and Savior called home another one of his angels, Richard Lynn Bryant, Sr, who passed away in Orange, Texas.
Born November 28, 1946, in Woodville, Texas, Richard built a successful business, Richard’s Trucking, from the ground up. He enjoyed rebuilding cars and motorcycles and helping others in his shop. He loved to ride his Harley and spend time with friends, but his heart belonged to his children and grandchildren, whom he adored.
Richard was preceded in death by his parents, R. L. Bryant and Bobbie Kirkland McKnight; his wife, Nina Ann Bryant; and his daughter, Rita Renee Bryant.
He leaves a loving family who will forever be grateful for the memories. His children, Melinda Ann Bryant, Richard Lynn Bryant, Jr., Bobbie Marie Felder and husband, Jon, Brandon Heath Bryant and wife, Gina; grandchildren, Miranda Smith, Preston Davis, Jr., Dustin Bryant, Jon David Felder, II, Kevin McGarrahan, Ryan Felder, Alston Garrett, Landon Bryant, Hunter McHugh, Seth Bryant, and Kolton McHugh; great-grandchildren, Angel Guerrero, Aleah, Azlyn and Anzly Smith and Cohen McHugh; great, great-granddaughter, Kamilla Renee Kaye; sister, Patricia Dumesnil; brother, Robert Bryant and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral services were held Saturday, December 28, 2024, at 11 a.m. at the Riley Funeral Home Chapel, with Charles Delino officiating. Burial followed at the Pilgrim Rest Cemetery in Colmesneil, Texas. Visitation was held Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11 a.m.
Preston Davis, Jr., Dustin Bryant, Jon Felder, II, Kevin McGarrahan, Ryan Felder, Alston Garrett, and Landon Bryant will be pallbearers.
Services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home, Woodville. 267
