Robert Glen Shields passed away Sept. 29, 2025, in El Paso. He was born Feb. 13, 1981, in Pasadena, to George “Buddy” and Katherine Laura (Mouton) Shields.
He is preceded in death by his brother, Joe Dwayne Shields; and his grandparents, Marion and Martha Mouton, and Jane Sheilds.
Robert is survived by his loving wife of 18 years, Stephanie Trice; his children, Brianna Nicole Pounds and spouse, Hailey, Mia Destyni Shields and spouse, Evan, Shawn Glen Shields, and Zackery Shields; grandson, Elijah Anthony Braillif; parents, George and Katherine Shields; brother, Shane Shields and spouse, Danielle; sister, Barbara Stokes and spouse, Jack; and paternal grandfather, George Shields. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends also survive.
Robert worked for eight-plus years with Paper Chasin’ Pilots providing transportation for the wind power industry. He enjoyed playing games with his son, and sharing his free time with his family.
He will be dearly missed by those he leaves behind to cherish his memory and to honor his legacy. 173
