Have you ever seen grass growing out of concrete? Sure, you have. My father-in-law would say that was real determination. It is, isn’t it?
The children of Israel had a foundation with many cracks. In Hosea 4:6, God said, “My people are destroyed from lack of knowledge. Because you have rejected knowledge, I also reject you as my priests; because you have ignored the law of your God, I also will ignore your children.”
What does that say about today? When God’s people ignore His Word and justify ungodly lives, will God ignore His people?
When I see little fans representing 121 children who died in Texas from abuse in 2025, I know there is a crack in our foundation. Our great grandson was born with serious health issues. He is strong—not just for himself, but for others who face physical challenges. He does this because he knows God alone can fix the foundation.
If there is a crack in your foundation, no politician will fix what is wrong with you.
I know of only One who can save your soul. I know of only One who can redirect your life. Jesus came into a mixed-up world. He left a mixed-up world. But only He has the answers to life eternal.
