Dennis Lance Goraum, 71, of Woodville, passed away July 18, 2025.
Born in Long Beach, California, he joined the U. S. Navy, where he was commissioned on a submarine. After retiring, he taught electronics to the U.S. Navy. Dennis moved to Woodville seven years ago and joined The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Dennis was a family man through and through. He always stated that even if his family did not live close, they were always in his prayers, thoughts, and heart. He loved them deeply. An avid Astros fan, he knew every player and the whys and hows of where they played.
He is survived by his loving family, son, Brandon Goraum, and wife, Madeline of Georgia; grandson, Jaxon Goraum of Georgia; brother, Donald Goraum of Spring, Texas; nephews, Cody Goraum and Casey Goraum both of Texas, and numerous friends he thought of as family.
Cremation services are held under the direction of Riley Funeral Home, Woodville.
