Lindsey Webster Hoke

Lindsey passed away at 39 in Jasper TX after a lengthy battle with Stage 4 colon cancer with his loving wife and best friend Bonney by his side on Sunday September 21,2025.

Lindsey was born on April 5th, 1986 in Houston Texas to William and Mary Hoke. Lindsey lived In Warren Tx with his wife, and his three bonus kids Paislee, Chance and Slade (he also referred to Slade’s girlfriend Ellie as his extra bonus kid and may have said she was the best one a time or two) Lindsey loved to be outside hunting, fishing or just being on his tractor doing something. Even if he didn’t take enough time to do those things. Lindsey worked at McClure Furniture for the past seven years where so many of his co-workers and customers were like family to him.
Before that he lived in Louisiana for 14 years but came home to Warren Tx in 2018. Lindsey graduated from Warren high school in 2004 and still held many friendships from his high school days even if they didn’t have the chance to get together often. Lindsey spoke about his days playing high school football fondly and often, he went on to play college ball at northwestern state where a leg fracture ended his football career. Lindsey graduated from Northwestern with a degree in criminal justice. For the past seven years Lindsey has made every softball game, awards ceremony, graduation and many livestock shows in support of his kids and took great pride in having a positive impact on the younger generation.
Lindsey is preceded in death by his father William Paul Hoke. He is survived by his wife Bonney Moses, kids Slade, Chance and Paislee, his brother Will Hoke, Mother Mary Hoke, Stepmother Robin Hoke, his mother-in-law Debbie Barnett, and numerous other friends, family and in laws.

Lindsey’s passing has left a void in the hearts of his many family and friends. We ask that you remember Lindsey as he was before the cancer took its toll on him. Lindsey was incredibly smart, funny, silly, kind, a hard worker, loyal to a fault to those he deemed worthy, annoyingly OCD and very loved by those who truly knew him.

There will be a celebration of life to honor Lindsey planned within the coming weeks that will be announced when the date is set.397
