Someone sent me the following statement. (Considering your way may be in order here.)
“Consider yet another opportunity to shine love in a time that is otherwise dominated by rancor, sarcasm, one-liners, insults, ‘preaching to the choir,’ sanctimonious declarations, manipulating and ignoring truth, and being smug.
“Consider well-reasoned positions stated with a view toward planting seeds with words of grace seasoned with salt and gentleness.
“Conduct yourselves with wisdom toward outsiders, making the most of the opportunity. Let your speech always be with grace, as though seasoned with salt, so that you will know how you should respond to each person.” (Colossians 4:5).
“The Lord’s bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will.” (2 Timothy 2:24).
Please consider your way. Is it the Lord’s Way?
