Colossians Chapter 2 Verses 6-10: 6 As ye have therefore received Christ Jesus the Lord so walk ye in him. 7 Rooted and built up in him and established in the faith as you have been taught abounding therein with thanksgiving. 8 Beware, lest any man spoil you through philosophy and vain deceit after the tradition of men after the rudiments of the world and not after Christ. 9 For in him dwell all the fullness of the Godhead bodily. 10 And ye are complete in Him, which is the head of all principalities and powers.
“This is to the people who have opened the door of your heart to the Lord Jesus and received Him, now you are in Christ Jesus. A new creation. Empowered by the Holy Spirit to go as an ambassador to the lost world.”
To tell them of the saving grace of the Lord Jesus Christ. To all the unsaved ... Jesus Christ can and will save you now, if you just call on His name in faith, believing.
Christian ... Do not let any of the world, or men spoil you! Go forward in faith established in Christ Jesus. Abounding in every good work with Thanksgiving, Rejoicing in His Great Love and Grace! Share the Gospel and all God has placed in your heart.
If you believe God the Father dwells fully in Christ Jesus verse 9 then you are complete in Jesus Christ, verse 10. Jesus Christ is in you. You have the power of the Holy Spirit. That same power that rose Jesus Christ from the dead lives in you.
Acts 10:38 God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power who went about doing good and healing all that were oppressed with the devil, for God was with him. We can do nothing without the power of the Holy Ghost. Jesus did miracles after he was filled with the Holy Ghost. He healed the sick and went about doing good healing all that were oppressed of the devil for God was with Him. That very same God, that very same Holy Ghost Power lives inside of the born-again Christians. You are complete.
Jeremiah 1:8 Be not afraid of their faces. For I am with thee to deliver thee, says the Lord.
Jeremiah 1:19 And they shall fight against thee, but they shall not prevail against thee, for I am with thee, saith the Lord, to deliver thee. So now is the time to go. He said I’ll be with you. There’s nothing to worry about.
If God’s going with you and you have all power and authority. You’re an ambassador for Christ empowered by the Holy Ghost. Then signs and wonders should follow. God is with us, ready to do a work, ready to be seen, ready to be praised, ready to be glorified for His great work He does among His people.
Joshua 1:9 Have I not commanded thee? Be strong and of good courage. Be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest. God is with you, and these signs will follow them that believe, in My name, they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, if they drink anything deadly, it shall not harm them, and they shall lay hands on the sick, and they shall recover.
Jesus is ready to show Himself through you to the world. Go forth! You are not a grasshopper, but a giant. When God is with you! Go forward with God and look for Him to show up in your life ... Child of God!
