Luke 17:20: And when He was demanded of the Pharisees, when the Kingdom of God should come, He answered them and said, The Kingdom of God cometh not with observation, 21 neither shall they say Lo here! or Lo there! for behold, the Kingdom of God is within you.
Look at these 2 verses. You can see Jesus Christ in the midst to bring the Kingdom to us. Jesus Christ within us. So the Kingdom of God is both among us in Jesus Christ. And within us as we submit to God's rule in our lives. Jesus Christ in us. Jesus was telling the Pharisees as they demanded Him to tell them when the Kingdom of God should come.
Jesus is telling the Pharisees the Kingdom of God cometh not with observation Lo here! or, Lo there! Over here or over there. That the Kingdom of God would come not be by observing a outward sign. By Jesus Christ being in their midst, the Kingdom of God was in their midst.
Jesus Christ came from Heaven to bring the Kingdom of God to Earth, not in a distant future event, but a present reality of His presence. Jesus Christ is the representation of the Kingdom of God. The Kingdom of God within us. The internal spiritual reality in our hearts to bring into our lives — love, joy, peace, and righteousness — the born-again experience. His presence within us by the Holy Ghost.
Romans 14:17: "The kingdom of God is not meat and drink, but righteousness, and peace, and joy in the Holy Ghost." If we only had hope here in this present world, no further hope, no eternal Kingdom of Heaven to look forward to. We would be troubled with trouble like the Pharisees, like the religious and the lost world. They were looking here and there to find the Kingdom of God.
You can't find any peace, all you find is doubt and sorrow in this world. You have tried everything. You can think of no place to go. It seems like nothing works. Some of you might feel like giving up on life. If you keep looking in all the wrong places all the time, you will never find the peace and joy and love you are looking for.
I've been there. I was lost. I had a troubled life on my own. I had no hope. We have all been there in that place at some time. I was suicidal, but let me tell you, one day I met Jesus! I was not hopeless anymore! No more suicidal thoughts from that day! Praise God!
Let me tell you when I met Jesus, I said, "This is real." I got filled with his love. I did not know what love was until I met Jesus. I started living! I was born again! I got cleansed in the precious blood of Jesus Christ that He poured out for me at the cross of Calvary.
He took all my sins. He took all my guilt and all my shame. My load got lighter! I called out and found Jesus, He came into my heart, a Holy in filling of the Holy Spirit! It was totally thrilling! I had just started living! I found me a brand new life!
Jesus changed my direction! It was a Holy Ghost in filling. Do you want your load to get lighter? Do you want to start living? Call on Jesus Christ today! He will answer. He loves you!
