Last week, a theft of cattle was reported to the Polk County Sheriff’s Office that occurred off Linda Road in Goodrich. Eleven head of red crossbred cows and two paint horses were stolen from the property. The mare is white and brown, and the gelding is black and white. The cows have no brands or markings. Texas Cattle Ranger Mike Boone is also assisting with the investigation.
