Livingston City Manager Bill Wiggins was the guest speaker for the February meeting of the Polk County Retired Teachers’ Association (PCRTA). He reported on damage that was sustained during the flooding in the spring of 2024 and Hurricane Beryl and how the city has worked diligently to rectify the damage. He also gave updates on the progress being made with ongoing projects within the city as well as upcoming improvements that will be made to the city’s infrastructure. PCRTA is open to membership for all retired school personnel. The next meeting will be March 6 in the conference room at Livingston Municipal Library.
