Weather is warming, and so is the event calendar

Last week I told you about all the birthdays at the first of February and I will tell you some more that will occur in the rest of the month. However, you must know I had a wonderful birthday. So many friends were so thoughtful with their well wishes, but I gained five pounds to celebrate with them.

The weather was beautiful last week, and it is supposed to be the same this week, but possibly there will be some rain for the weekend during Valentine events.

On Friday, Martin Senior Citizen Center is hosting a Valentine’s Day Luncheon. The Luncheon tickets are no longer available because the seating is at compacity. It will be a fun luncheon, so remember, call early to get tickets for next year.

However, you can still attend the Piapagorsky Classic Music Concert on Friday night at 6 p.m. at the First Methodist Church of Trinity. It is a piano and cello performance that will delight you and enlighten you. You do not want to miss this concert. Donations are the complimentary appreciation for this concert.

This is a one-hour intimate and enchanting concert featuring 2 amazing artists: Evan Drachman on cello, and Efi Hackney on piano.

Through their music performance and comprehensive commentaries, you will gain unparalleled understanding of the classical music pieces and the composers. Please come and be inspired by this live concert.

For more information, please call Joyce Reinhardt at (282) 782-5618.

•On Saturday at 8 a.m. there is a special “Gal-entine Breakfast” for the WOW Women at the Liberty Christian Center located on West Main Street in Trinity. For more information call Dolly.
