I grew up in a very loving fellowship. But I had to learn that Jesus’ Way is the only way.
I haven’t always walked the narrow path. Because of the prayers of a loving mother and wife I made the journey home.
But because of His love for me, I made it back.
Much like the lost son in Luke 15, I wanted to do my own thing. I am glad the lost son came to his senses. (Luke 15:17).
Thankfully, our Father never gives up on us. The way home isn’t easy.
Our loving God never gives up on us.
Notice the words of 2 Peter 3:9: The Lord is not slow in keeping His promise, as some understand slowness. Instead He is patient with you, not wanting anyone to perish, but everyone to come to repentance.
