The blanket of snow shown in this aerial photo of the City of Livingston makes it look like a winter wonderland. Locally, the snow began falling late Monday night and throughout Tuesday morning. All six school districts in Polk County closed Tuesday and Wednesday, with classes resuming on Thursday. Winter Storm Enzo brought rare, record-breaking snow all throughout the south and to parts of the Gulf Coast, resulting in historic snowfall totals from New Orleans to Florida. Up to 4.2 inches of snow had fallen in the Houston metro area while flurries fell in Galveston. Snow even fell as far south as Brownsville, Texas, early Tuesday. Gusts to 44 miles per hour were also recorded there. COURTESY PHOTO
