DOUCETTE – A drive-in movie is scheduled to be screened on Saturday, May 16 at the home of Bill and Brenda Cloyd. The film scheduled is “I Still Believe.”

According to the organizers, the movie screening will also feature a bonfire and refreshments, all free of charge. Attendees should bring lawnchairs, or they can watch from vehicles, if they prefer.

The film is described as an “inspiring love story for the ages,” and based on the life story of Christian pop artist Jeremy Camp. It stars KJ Apa, Britt Roberton, Shania Twain and Gary Sinise, and is Dove approved for ages 12 and up.

The screening is another event hosted by the Cloyds and sponsored by Peachtree Community Church of Chester featuring a drive-in movie and other family friendly activities, which have taken place periodically over the past several years. A bouncy house and other kids’ activities will be featured. Attendees can also enjoy free snacks, like spiral-fried potatoes, nachos, popcorn and slushies.

Worship music and activities for the children will take place an hour before the show, which begins at dark.

To get to the Cloyds’ home, which is located four miles north of Woodville off of US 69, turn onto County Road 2770, pass the second bridge and turn left by a flagpole, and follow the signs.
