TYLER COUNTY – Tyler County Sheriff Bryan Weatherford reported that the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office is seeking information in two separate loose livestock incidents in different parts of the county over a two-day period.

Weatherford said that the first incident occurred on the morning of Sunday, Sept. 28, when deputies were called out on a call of a loose horse, near Russell Creek, along FM 1745, near Chester.

The deputies, along with the county’s stockman, were able to find the horse, load and transport it to the Tyler County Sheriff’s Office, where it currently remains.

The horse is described as a beige bay mustang, with a star on its forehead, a white patch on its belly and white on all four feet.

Then, the next morning, on Monday, Weatherford said another loose livestock call came through, this time concerning bovine, near Woodville.

The deputies were called out to a location on County Road 1096 near Hennigan Park, and were able to pen two tiger-stripe bulls at a private residence where they currently both remain.

Weatherford said that anyone with information about the animals in either incident is asked to call TCSO at 409-283-2172.
