The Lady Jacket volleyball team traveled to Shepherd on Friday, August 8 to scrimmage the Lady Pirates.
The JV team played first with a rolling clock format. The Lady Jackets were able to win two sets before the 30-minute time limit.
The varsity got in three sets winning the first, losing the second, and ultimately losing the third after time ran out. Both Lady Jacket teams traveled to Groveton on Saturday, August 9, for a tri-scrimmage against Groveton and Navasota.
Both teams showed improvement and are all learning new rotations as key positions are being replaced. This week the Lady Jackets will travel to Diboll on Tuesday, August 12 and then Colmesneil on August 15 with game times at 4:30 p.m. for both games.
